“Hey, Ayase, it seems like he knows you,” the orange-haired girl said with an awkward laugh, watching her friend send the guy flying.

“It’s nothing. Just a pervert I ran into last night who tried to harass me,” Ayase replied, turning back with a smile as she explained to her friend. “Let’s go, Kirino. Stay away from creeps like that from now on.”

At least the computer was unharmed—a small mercy in the midst of misfortune, Kii thought bitterly as he got to his feet. Why was he even arguing with a girl? He’d been too impulsive last night; after all, this was a matter of a girl’s reputation. Even if the values of this world were a bit different, it still wasn’t good.

When Ayase opened the door to her room, she found Kii lounging by the computer. She charged over, shouting, “You pervert, why did you have to show up in front of my friend? Were you about to say... say... Damn pervert, go die!”

“Alright, I’ll just avoid greeting you whenever I see you from now on. Honestly, we don’t even know each other that well—you never told me your name, and I never told you mine. Once I leave, we might never meet again,” Kii replied coolly.

“Hmph, I don’t want to know your name anyway! Just don’t cause me any trouble in public, thank you. Hmph.” Ayase pushed Kii out so she could change her clothes.

After that, the atmosphere grew a bit heavy. Kii sat at the computer while Ayase worked on her homework. Suddenly, a voice rang out: “Hey, little Kii, you look bored. I’ll give you something to do. Soon, two people will cross over to the tallest mountain nearby. I’ll give them the same mission as you, plus an additional one: to kill you. If they complete either task, they survive. Hehe, if you don’t act, someone else will—including Ayase, including... Kuroneko. You could even be killed yourself, you know?” The god’s voice was mischievous.

“I’ve never seen such a shameless deity! My mission is to win over girls—and if I refuse, you force me like this? What kind of twisted god are you? Your title as a god is a disgrace, you bastard! If you like these girls so much, why don’t you try wooing them yourself?” Kii practically roared the last few lines, startling Ayase.

Before Ayase could say anything, Kii closed his laptop, stood up, and said, “I sense a powerful demonic presence outside. I’ll be back.” With that, he walked to the window, ready to leave.

“Wait a minute! Where would a demon come from in this world? Can’t you just behave normally?” Ayase frowned. “I’m not kicking you out right now. If you’re bored, put on some music. Running away won’t fix anything.”

Kii could only smile wryly. “How should I put this? You’re always so one-sided and stubborn. I’m not running away; I really have something to deal with. Don’t go outside, and especially don’t go near the mountain—it’s dangerous. I might not be able to protect you.”

“N-Nonsense! I don’t need your protection! Once you leave, I’m locking the window and you can sleep on the roof. Hmph.” Seeing Kii wasn’t joking, Ayase retorted, flustered.

Kii just shook his head and leapt out the window, vanishing before Ayase’s eyes.

...

Maka Shashu was a warrior—a veteran under Frieza. Though called a veteran, he was actually the weakest of Frieza’s soldiers. His long survival was due entirely to his cautious nature, which had always helped him escape disaster. Today, however, he was with the main force on a planet that looked like it would fetch a good price, slaughtering and enslaving the world’s intelligent life. In the midst of the massacre, he was suddenly teleported to this strange place.

In his mind, two missions suddenly appeared. Being cautious, he chose to believe them—anyone who could pull off something like this was certainly not someone he could handle. As long as it wasn’t a death sentence, he might as well try his luck. If he won and returned to Frieza’s army with the coordinates of this unknown planet, perhaps Lord Frieza would reward him.

He had no interest in women; his goal was to kill the man named Kii, as indicated in his mind. He just didn’t know how strong Kii was, or how powerful the natives of this planet might be. Thinking this, Maka Shashu pressed the strange device over his left eye.

As numbers and unfamiliar symbols flashed across the lens, Maka Shashu noticed someone lying nearby. “The scouter shows this guy’s power level is barely anything. What an absurdly weak human. I might as well kill him... Wait, there’s text above his head: ‘Otaku who knows the situation.’ Does he know what’s going on?”

Cautiously, he poked the guy awake with his foot. The man looked like he was receiving the same information in his mind, but unlike confusion, his face was filled with excitement, agitation, and nervous anticipation.

“Hey, you trash over there. Looks like you know what’s going on. Tell me everything, and I’ll consider whether to kill you,” Maka Shashu said flatly.

Gao Jizhai was startled awake by the kick and barely had time to see who’d done it. Suddenly, information appeared in his mind. Missions? Survival? The Infinite? Gao Jizhai was elated—it was paradise! The tasks included winning over Kirino Kosaka, Ayase Aragaki, Kuroneko, and other two-dimensional girls. But who was Kii? Another ‘Infinite’ participant? A transported demon king? There wasn’t enough information, and it was a little different from the legends, so he felt nervous.

Then a voice snapped him out of his thoughts. He looked up instinctively and was shocked—standing beside him was a two-meter-tall humanoid rat, wearing a familiar battle uniform with a scouter over the left eye. That outfit—wasn’t it what Frieza’s underlings wore? Finally, he saw the text floating above the creature’s head: ‘Frieza’s weakest veteran soldier.’

Oh my god—F-F-F-Frieza’s underling! Even the weakest among them could wipe out all of humanity on Earth. How could one appear here? Was this guy Kii? Was the final battle starting already?

“Hey, trash, I asked you a question. Do you want to die?” Maka Shashu growled, grabbing Gao Jizhai by the collar and lifting him up threateningly.

“N-no, I don’t! If you have any questions, sir, I’ll tell you everything I know!” Gao Jizhai cowered instantly.

“First, tell me what’s going on right now.”

...

After learning everything, Maka Shashu tossed Gao Jizhai aside. He decided to keep him around for now; with a power level of only 1, there was no way this trash could escape. At that moment, his scouter detected a reaction—a power level of 68 in the distant sky. Maka Shashu relaxed; with his own power level of 250, he could easily crush the opponent.

...

Kii unfolded his wings and flew at full speed. He had to reach the enemy before they could leave—if they made it into the city, things would get complicated. He would never forgive himself if Kuroneko got hurt. Fortunately, the powerful aura and murderous intent were glaringly obvious in the sunset.

Judging by the aura, the enemy was already on par with a Foundation Establishment cultivator. Yet, the sense of danger was of a different kind. Kii’s body, transformed and purified by spiritual energy, was no longer the same as before. The threat didn’t seem insurmountable, and he was eager to test his current abilities.

He folded his wings and narrowed his eyes, focusing on the two enemies ahead—or rather, just one, since the other was so weak he didn’t even count. Kii’s gaze locked onto Maka Shashu, the rat-headed humanoid.

“So, you’re Kii? If I kill you, do I get to go home?” Maka Shashu grinned menacingly. Though careful, he didn’t attack immediately. The opponent’s power level was lower, but years of battle had honed his instincts—he still sensed danger from Kii. Besides, in the universe, there were plenty of races that could transform and increase their power. Since he’d been chosen as Kii’s opponent, their abilities should be similar.

“That’s right. By the way, who is this Frieza? Even the weakest of his soldiers have this kind of strength—what a terrifying figure,” Kii said solemnly.

“Hahaha! Lord Frieza is the strongest in the universe. With a flick of his finger, he can destroy a planet. Country bumpkins like you, who haven’t even begun to explore the cosmos, couldn’t possibly know his name!” Maka Shashu laughed.

“Well, he’s far from here right now. For the moment, I just need to take care of you,” Kii replied, launching a surprise attack with a powerful punch.

Maka Shashu sneered and sidestepped with a swift movement, appearing behind Kii in an instant and driving his elbow into Kii’s back. The blow was so powerful it cracked Kii’s spine—an ordinary person, even a cultivator, would have been finished. But Kii’s body, after being refined by spiritual energy, was extraordinary.

Taking the hit, Kii dashed forward to put some distance between them. ‘He’s strong. No wonder his aura matches a Foundation Establishment cultivator. Still, he seems to rely on brute strength and doesn’t use any cultivation spells. In otaku terms, he has high power but low mystery and little versatility. Even so, with my current power, I’m still far from his level—I can barely follow his movements, let alone react in time.’

A battle-hungry grin spread across Kii’s face. “You’re strong—second only to my most formidable enemies. But I’ve made great strides lately. Let’s see what I can do now. Ah...” Kii began to unleash the results of his recent training. At his peak, his body, purified by spiritual energy, could now exert over 6,000—nearly 7,000 pounds of force.
