The direction Chen Xian headed was precisely toward JK City.

As he walked, he maintained contact with the spy insect known as Agent 002.

Chen Xian noticed that the silver-haired, youthful-faced stranger was moving in the exact opposite direction of JK.

“No matter what, you can’t escape my grasp!” Chen Xian’s lips curled into a confident smile.

An hour later.

Chen Xian finally arrived at a small town and hailed a private car to take him to JK City.

JK City was several hundred kilometers away. Although Chen Xian could run faster than a car, doing so would drain his physical strength and even consume some of his spiritual energy, so he chose to take a car.

From this small town, after an hour’s drive, he would reach the highway; from there, three more hours would take him to JK City.

Chen Xian searched online and found that JK was the largest city within the country of T. While not comparable to the international metropolises of the Hualong Federation, it was still quite prosperous.

Around one in the afternoon, Chen Xian stepped out of the private car, his feet touching the ground as he saw not far ahead a massive circular structure—that was the Guangsheng 80,000-seat Football Stadium. Tonight, at midnight, the once-in-five-years Tri-Nation Gambling Stone Conference would be held there.

It was not yet time for entry; the stadium’s entrance was quiet, with only some essential staff present and no crowds in sight.

Entry was scheduled for 7 p.m., so there were nearly six hours to spare.

Chen Xian decided to find a hotel and book a room.

Looking up, his eyes immediately caught a towering building crowned with a striking billboard: Guangsheng Grand Hotel.

“That’s the one. It’s the closest to the 80,000-seat stadium,” Chen Xian murmured and quickened his pace toward the hotel.

Upon reaching the hotel’s lobby, Chen Xian approached the front desk and addressed a pretty receptionist dressed in professional attire.

“I’d like to book a room,” he said.

“Sir, I’m terribly sorry, but we are fully booked. Please try another hotel,” the receptionist apologized.

Chen Xian thought it over: this was a five-star hotel, and being so close to the stadium, many bosses attending the Gambling Stone Conference would have reserved rooms here.

He was about to turn and leave.

At that moment, he noticed four or five people entering the lobby. Leading them was a woman emanating a powerful aura, her beauty ravishing and captivating.

She wore a black leather trench coat draped over a black wool sweater that was lifted high at the chest, forming a proud curve. Below, a tight black leather mini-skirt outlined the roundness of her hips, and her long, shapely legs were clad in black stockings, topped off with black leather knee-high boots.

This ensemble perfectly highlighted her seductive charm and formidable presence.

Guo Xinzi!

Chen Xian immediately recognized this queenly, alluring woman. She was the renowned auctioneer of Baishan Manor’s auctions, an international superstar excelling in hosting, acting, directing, and singing—the incomparable Guo Xinzi.

Behind Guo Xinzi were two tall bodyguards in black suits and sunglasses, along with three staff members.

Chen Xian had only met Guo Xinzi once before, hardly enough to be considered acquainted.

He glanced at her and then headed toward the hotel exit, preparing to leave and find another place to stay.

“Mr. Chen, hello! It’s a pleasure to see you here!” Unexpectedly, Guo Xinzi greeted him with a bright smile.

Chen Xian was somewhat surprised. At the Baishan Manor auction, he had only bid on one item—the pair of Pisces jade pendants imbued with spiritual energy. Yet, Guo Xinzi actually remembered him.

Since she had greeted him, Chen Xian smiled back at the alluring woman.

“Miss Guo, hello!”

“Mr. Chen, you’re here for the Gambling Stone Conference as well, right?” Guo Xinzi approached him, smiling warmly, her eyes sparkling with electric charm as she fixed her gaze on him.

She was truly a femme fatale; many men would be powerless before her, willingly surrendering beneath her pomegranate skirt.

However, Chen Xian was not so easily captivated. He calmly responded with a smile.

“Yes, I’m here to participate in the Gambling Stone Conference.”

Hearing this, Guo Xinzi wanted to chat more, to ingratiate herself.

“Haha, Miss Guo, you’ve come back just in time. Come with me for a drink now!”

Before she could speak further, a rough middle-aged male voice interrupted.

Following the voice, Chen Xian saw a group of people emerging from the hotel elevator. At the forefront was a man in a gray striped suit, holding a cigar between his lips. His small eyes gleamed with a lascivious light, greedily scanning Guo Xinzi’s figure.

Behind him were several sharp-eyed, robust men dressed in black—clearly experts.

A flicker of disgust crossed Guo Xinzi’s beautiful eyes as she glanced at the man in the striped suit. She turned to the interpreter beside her and said, “Tell him I don’t know him and cannot accompany him for a drink.”

The female interpreter nodded and immediately relayed Guo Xinzi’s words to the man in the gray striped suit.

“Hey, it doesn’t matter if we don’t know each other,” the man said. “Let me introduce myself: I’m Xiang Kui. Nobody in JK City doesn’t know me. Now that I’ve introduced myself, Miss Guo, you should recognize me.”

Xiang Kui removed the cigar from his mouth, flicked the ash, and grinned wickedly.

“Miss Guo, come have a drink with me. Then we can have a deeper chat.”

The interpreter quickly conveyed the man’s words.

Hearing the translation, Guo Xinzi frowned slightly.

“Tell him I don’t have time.”

Then she turned to Chen Xian apologetically.

“Mr. Chen, I need to go to my room to prepare some things. I’ll leave now. We can talk another time.”

Chen Xian nodded and replied, “Goodbye.”

After speaking, Guo Xinzi prepared to leave with her bodyguards and staff.

“Heh heh, Miss Guo, leaving me like this is very rude! I heard you’re here to perform. I’ve been waiting here at Guangsheng Grand Hotel for days just to see you. Today, you must have a proper drink with me and we’ll talk about life and dreams,” Xiang Kui sneered, stepping forward to block Guo Xinzi’s path.

Upon hearing the interpreter, the two bodyguards immediately moved to push Xiang Kui away.

Smack!

The man in the gray striped suit struck like lightning, slapping the two strong bodyguards hard across their faces and sending them flying.

Guo Xinzi frowned deeply, clearly recognizing that this man was ruthless and vicious. She was quite tense—she had rarely encountered such a situation.

“Exactly what do you want?” she demanded.

The interpreter relayed her words.

Slap!

“Fuck your mother! Tell Guo Xinzi that it’s her blessing I fancy her. Stop your whining and come have a drink and a night with me!” Xiang Kui bared his teeth and slapped the interpreter’s face.

The interpreter clutched her swollen cheek, tears welling in her eyes as she relayed Xiang Kui’s vulgar message.

Guo Xinzi’s enchanting face clouded with gloom. She glanced nervously at the hotel security and manager, who dared not intervene.

She was sharp-minded and immediately knew that Xiang Kui must be a powerful local figure.

She quickly took out her phone and called the head of the entertainment company who had invited her to perform.

“Hello, Mr. Ya? I’m at Guangsheng Hotel…”

“Haha, Miss Guo, go ahead and make your calls. No one in JK City dares defy me, Xiang Kui. Even if you call the mayor, he won’t care about this,” Xiang Kui boasted arrogantly.

Guo Xinzi hung up, her beautiful, delicate face filled with anxiety.

Because as soon as Mr. Ya heard it was Xiang Kui, he told her to endure and accompany him well—Xiang Kui was the most powerful local tyrant in JK City; Mr. Ya dared not offend him.

Though Guo Xinzi appeared alluring and seductive on the surface, deep down she was quite traditional and had always preserved her purity.

How could she allow this disgusting Xiang Kui to defile her?

But in a foreign land, Guo Xinzi had no means to protect herself, and tears shimmered in her anxious gaze.

“Xiang Kui, get lost!”

At that moment, a young, defiant voice spoke up in the language of T Country.
