Mingyan made two video calls early in the morning.
“What exactly do you want?”
Kim Jisoo, still groggy, showed from her background that she hadn’t gotten out of bed yet.
“Why did Jisoo get a single room right after debuting, while I’ve been debuted for a year and still have to live in the living room?” Lim Nayeon felt extremely unfair. After all, Twice was currently one of the hottest idol groups.
The treatment was just too poor.
Mingyan’s gaze flickered slightly. “Then you should complain to JYP. Isn’t your boss always advocating for humane treatment?”
He thought he just caught a glimpse of Park Jihyo in pajamas passing by Nayeon’s chat background.
Though she had put on a bit of weight, the parts that should be ample were indeed quite generous—visually very plump and lively.
To be honest, being slimmer might look better visually, but being lush and full was a real advantage.
“First tell me why you’re video calling. If it’s about the breakup, Jisoo and I don’t have the mood to comfort you.”
Nayeon must have heard from Yoo Jeongyeon about Mingyan’s breakup.
Kim Jisoo said nothing; the girl in the frame looked half-asleep, as if her spirit had already drifted away.
“No, it’s nothing about the breakup.” Mingyan sounded a bit regretful. No other Twice members passed by Nayeon’s background anymore. “Minyoung has an interview at S.M today.”
Kim Jisoo suddenly brightened. “Don’t worry, I taught Minyoung a lot of my secret skills. She’ll be fine.”
A bad feeling suddenly stirred in Mingyan’s heart. If Minyoung was going to learn, she should learn from a decent person.
“Minyoung will be fine. If S.M doesn’t take her, she can always come to JYP,” Nayeon said confidently.
“Minyoung will get up soon. I want her to borrow some of your luck.”
Young people today are superstitious; some pray to Confucius before exams, others stick up Conan posters in their dorms as a pun—“hang Conan” instead of “failing exams”—all kinds of superstitions have sprung up.
So Mingyan thought, before Minyoung left, she should pay respects to Kim Jisoo and Lim Nayeon—both members of two hugely popular girl groups.
Just for good luck.
Nayeon looked puzzled. “Is that even a thing?”
“Nayeon unnie, who are you chatting with?”
Before they could react, Hirai Momo suddenly appeared from some corner.
The girl was only wearing loose pajamas, her hair slightly messy, looking like she had just been roughhousing with other members.
Of course, the focus wasn’t on that, but on the large expanse of fair skin on her chest.
Blinking.
Nayeon was immediately tackled onto the bed. “Momo, I’m on a video call with the person you like.”

“Momo-chan, hello.” Mingyan waved with a smile. The girl group dorm was truly a paradise—just making a video call brought so many surprises.
Life wasn’t easy; only seeing those long, bare legs could recharge one’s energy.
“Ah!”
Hirai Momo let out a startled shout and then disappeared from the screen.
“Hey, Jisoo, look at this guy’s eyes—they’re practically falling out.”
Nayeon sat up, immediately noticing the lingering gaze someone hadn’t fully retracted.
“Nayeon, your members have really great figures,” Kim Jisoo commented, pinching her chin. None of her own teammates had such good figures.
Nayeon felt utterly exhausted. “You two!”
They had been like this since childhood, making her seem like the most normal person in the group. She was known for her unconventional thinking, but compared to Mingyan and Kim Jisoo, she was just a small fry.
“We just have eyes that are good at appreciating beauty.”
“Minyoung…”
“Ahem, promoting truth, goodness, and beauty, fighting against falsehood, ugliness, and evil.”
Mingyan was about to say something cheeky but stopped when he heard Kim Minyoung’s name.
He still wanted to maintain his image in his niece’s eyes.
“Where’s Minyoung?” Kim Jisoo tilted her head, as if wanting to crawl out of the screen.
Mingyan immediately realized he had been tricked.
Sure enough, Nayeon in the frame gave a sly smile, more cute than cunning, making one want to pinch her chubby cheeks.
What bad intentions could a little bunny have?
Nayeon seemed to have discovered something amusing. “I’m just wondering why Minyoung isn’t up yet. Why are you so nervous?”
“I’m not nervous, I just…”
“Minyoung, ah.”
“Hey, don’t you know the same trick doesn’t work on me?” Mingyan said without looking back. “I’m not afraid of Minyoung. You can’t scare me with her.”
“Minyoung, good morning.” Kim Jisoo and Nayeon both raised their hands in greeting.
Mingyan turned stiffly and saw his little niece had already finished washing up and was standing neatly behind him.
“Good morning, uncle.”
Kim Minyoung didn’t know what the three of them were chatting about on video but came over after hearing her name. Mingyan looked a bit tense.
Someone shivered. “Minyoung, when did you get up? You didn’t make a sound.”

“Maybe the soundproofing is just too good.” Kim Minyoung obediently greeted Kim Jisoo and Nayeon again. “Good morning, Jisoo unnie, Nayeon unnie.”
With an uncle and two older sisters, the family relationships sounded really complicated.
“Minyoung, don’t rush to say hello. Come over first and pay respects to the two sisters,” Mingyan called his niece over.
“Pay respects?”
The obedient girl’s mind momentarily didn’t catch up.
Mingyan demonstrated: “Yes, put your hands together and silently wish, ‘I hope I pass today’s interview.’”
Minyoung blinked. Is that how people in big cities do things?
But come to think of it, a trainee praying to two seniors before an interview… it did make sense.
Mingyue: Is my daughter going to be led astray?
The little one imitated Mingyan’s gesture, closed her eyes, and made a wish to the two sisters on the screen. Kim Jisoo accepted calmly, even striking a pose, while Nayeon glanced around nervously, afraid other members might catch them.
Too embarrassing.
After this little ritual, Mingyan hung up and took Kim Minyoung to S.M.
“Minyoung, what did Jisoo unnie teach you yesterday?”
He thought it best to ask in advance.
“Jisoo unnie told me to sing nursery rhymes if I don’t know what to do.”
“…”
That definitely sounded like Kim Jisoo’s style. Mingyan knew all too well how quickly his friend could improvise nursery rhymes—three in a second.
His phone ringtone was one of Jisoo’s nursery rhymes.
“Uncle, should I listen to Jisoo unnie’s?”
“You’d better listen to Nayeon’s.”
Kim Minyoung nodded, already pondering.
The interview was in a private room. Mingyan waited outside while Minyoung took a deep breath and prepared to enter.
“Minyoung, good luck.” Mingyan pumped his fist to cheer.
“Uncle, your voice is too loud.”
